What you paste or open
Every DevTidy tool runs inside your browser, in a background Web Worker. Text, code, tokens and files you paste, type or open are processed on your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party. You can verify this in your browser's network tab, and the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.
What we store
To save you re-pasting, each tool keeps your last input (up to about 200 KB) and your theme choice in your browser's local storage on this device only. Press Clear on a tool, or clear your browser data, to remove it. Files you open are never stored.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. These never contain your tool input. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
Advertising
DevTidy does not currently show ads. If that changes, this section will explain the cookies involved and how to opt out.
